🎄 A Tree Farmer’s Wish for the 2025 Christmas Season

From the Hills of the Pacific Northwest to Your Holiday Home

As a small business owner and lifelong tree farmer, I’m writing this with hope in my heart—that 2025 is the year this little e-commerce journey really takes off.

I’ve been harvesting noble fir high up in the Pacific Northwest since I was a kid. Back then, we sold wreaths on the side of the road or through word-of-mouth in town. A handshake was all it took to make a sale. It was simple, honest work. And honestly, it still is.

But times are changing fast. E-commerce has transformed how people shop for everything—including holiday wreaths, greenery, and centerpieces. I’ll admit—it hasn’t been easy adjusting. Tree farmers like me are used to being behind the scenes, not behind a screen. But if that’s where people are, then that’s where I need to be.

I’m not just selling wreaths. I’m sharing something I love—the scent of fresh noble fir, the feeling of bringing the forest indoors, and the tradition of decorating with something real. Every wreath we make is crafted with care, using greens my family and I harvested ourselves—often in cold mountain air with dirt on our boots and the scent of Christmas all around us.

It’s a shift—from word-of-mouth to SEO, from the roadside stand to Shopify—but I believe there are still people out there who appreciate handmade, farm-grown holiday decor. People who love the fragrance of fresh greenery as much as I do. People who care where their wreath came from and how the trees are planted and taken care of for the furniture generation  .

So here I am, learning to blog, learning to post, and learning to share my story online—because if the internet is going to know anything about this small tree farm/ forest farm, it’s that we’re still doing it the right way. By hand. By heart. By tradition hard work and dedication.

Thanks for following along. I’ll keep blogging so the world can see what kind of year we had—good or bad—and what it really looks like to grow, harvest, and hustle your way through the holiday season and life.

Wishing you all the best,
— A hopeful tree farmer at Champion Greens Forest & Farm. Stay positive and humble
