Our First Season Selling Online: What a Ride 🌲

This past season was our very first time selling farm products through e-commerce, and wow—"interesting" doesn't even begin to cover it.

If I'm being completely honest, there is no way I could have pulled this off without my family and friends. Their help, support, and patience made all the difference. Selling online turned out to be a whole other business stacked right on top of running the farm itself. I knew it would be work… I just didn't realize how much work.

By the time the season wrapped up, I think it took me a full week just to recover. Every single shipment that left the farm had to look exactly the way it did online perfect, clean, and ready to impress. That alone was a tedious task, and it didn't take long for me to realize something important: I am not superhuman. Turns out, I need help and I learned that one pretty quick 😄.

Even with all the long hours, I still enjoyed the adventure. One of the best parts was being able to step away from the packaging table and take a break out on the farm. Because let me tell you. after a while, making Christmas items and packing boxes can get real boring.

What truly made it all worth it, though, were the customers. I'm still blown away by the incredible people who ordered from us this year. Your support meant everything. I learned so much this season and I'm still learning every day.

Because of that, I've decided to continue selling online. This felt like a great starting point, and I'm excited to see what happens next season. And now… I'm thinking ahead.

A spring line of products from our farm might be in the works 👀. I ran the idea by my family, got the thumbs up, and I think we're going to give it a try.
